WBDHF would like to thank all players, coaches, fans, organizers, and volunteers for an amazing weekend in Tremblant, Canada.
We witnessed 38 teams from around the world competing in an incredible atmosphere and showcasing the continued growth of 3vs3 ball hockey on the international stage.
Once again, the home teams from Quebec proved their dominance, but this tournament also gave us a brand new champion story — Team North America Legends, whose gold medal victory was one of the biggest surprises of the event. Team North America Women also captured a bronze medal, confirming the huge potential of this project.
Czechia earned one medal with bronze in the Masters MO35 category, while their Legends and Men Open teams finished in the quarterfinals.
Greece claimed a historic bronze medal in the top Men Open category after a fantastic victory over Canada.
Canada, USA, Slovakia, and Italy leave Tremblant this time without medals, showing just how competitive the World Cup 3vs3 has become.
As a test event ahead of the 2027 World Championship in Hungary in the 3vs3 format, the tournament was a huge success and another important step for the future of international ball hockey.
We would also like to give a special thank you to WBDHF Vice President and tournament director Patrick Ducharme for his outstanding work and dedication throughout the event.
See you soon in Montreal for the World Cup 5x5!
