The WBHF was joined by the NHL in assisting promoter Lionsheart Education deliver a hockey experience to hundreds of school children in the Beijing area.

Efforts are being made to add ball hockey to thousands of schools across China. This initiative involves several organizations and partners, with the WBHF being an integral part of programming resources and training of teachers. 

The WBHF has been recognized at the school and others like it with commemorative appreciation.
